An effective technique that most students employ to make their essay writing task easier is the building block approach to writing. The concept behind this approach is that an MBA essay, like any form of writing, is composed of smaller elements—from words to sentences to paragraphs.
This is easily done if you have an outline you have prepared before you start writing your MBA essay outline. Most MBA essay questions are more focused and it requires a higher analysis of the topic presented. It is important that you are able to provide and list all the points that you want to add—as stated in your outline—so you will be properly guided in the direction you wish your MBA essay to take.
The advantage of an MBA essay outline is that it guides you to your research. The outline will help you focus on the points you want to include and omit in your essay, and with a priority in mind, looking for facts that will substantiate your focal points will take lesser time.
The outline, ideally, has a preliminary and final form. In your preliminary outline, you may simply list the points you wish to cover for your research. It may take any form which you are most comfortable with as long as the contents you needed for your MBA essay are there. It may take the form of questions you hope to answer in your MBA essay or a series of lines and arrows that will help you focus on what information to look for. The main purpose of your preliminary MBA essay outline is to give you more focus as you begin your research. The final MBA essay outline, then, is written after you have made your research. Here you can insert additional facts into your initial outline as the result of your research. The final outline serves as the skeleton of your MBA essay. It must already list the main topics and subtopics covered in your MBA essay and it must present how these topics are related to one another.
By having a guide to tell you where to go or what to write for your MBA essay, the task is easier to complete.
